The Painting Process

 

Recently, we decided it was time to give our house a fresh look, and painting it white turned out to be the perfect choice! In this post, I’ll share  how we painted the house, and why I love the result.

Before painting, we cleaned the walls and covered the floors with News papers .

We picked a high-quality, washable white paint so it stays clean and bright for a long time

Using rollers for the big walls and brushes for the corners, we painted section by section. It took a couple of days

Painting is harder than it looks! Here are a few tips I learned

·          Painting can be tiring, so taking short breaks keeps you from rushing and making mistakes.

·          Waiting for the first coat to dry before adding the second coat makes the paint look smooth and even

·          Painting with family made the job faster and way more fun

 

Now that the house is painted white, it feels brighter and more modern. Even when the sun isn’t shining, the house looks fresh and cheerful.
